Livemocha is looking for Quality Assurance Engineers who are passionate about ensuring the absolute best experience for members of Livemocha. In this role you will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, test cases and test matrices, using your technical knowledge to design and develop scripts and tools for test execution, developing, maintaining and improving automated tests, working with product management and development to ensure complete functional path coverage, implementing and executing software tests, including issue reporting and defect tracking, black box testing, and other test related tasks as needed. Moreover, you will be part of a strong team in a fast-paced, start-up environment where agile development is embraced and innovation is encouraged.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of QA and Testing experience
- Have been a part of a strong team in a fast-paced, start-up environment
- Excellent fundamental knowledge of Quality Assurance concepts
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Expertise with full software development life cycle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with testing methodologies for mobile devices
- Experience designing, implementing executing test cases and reporting metrics on quality.
- Have deep technical understanding of QA methodology and tools such as schedulers, frameworks, and harnesses.
- Have at least 1 year of hands on scripting experience in at least one scripting language like Ruby, Perl, Python, Shell Script etc.
- Knowledge of Unix based operating system and tools
