This Sunday, China will be celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival, or Moon Festival. In its 1000 years of celebration, many customs have developed, but none so popular than the moon cake. Why do I say that? Because, I learned about the tradition of the moon cake and this festival from a French travel site that I follow on Facebook. Random circumstances aside, reading about the culture and history of this festival was fascinating. Here is a great site that tells about the history, traditions, customs, and food of the festival.

I can’t say that I’m terribly familiar with Chinese music, so for now, I’m relying on our new Inside Sales Representative, Jordan, who lived and studied in China, for some popular Chinese artists to share with you for this week’s Saturday Morning Music.

Enjoy!
