It’s a sunny day in Seattle (yes, that happens… rarely, but it does) and we’re pleased to share with you some of the many countries that are being represented in our Summer Video Challenge: Brazil, Australia, England, Greece, Poland, Palestine, Venezuela, and The United States. Through these videos, community members aren’t only practicing their language, sharing their tips, and striving to achieve a Livemocha Gold Key, they are inspiring others to take the challenge too. And so, without further ado, here we go with week four of our Livemocha Summer Video Challenge!

David decided to learn Spanish via Livemocha not just to speak his parents’ mother tongue, but to stop from being embarrassed at parties.

When she sent in this video, Cris said, ”Although it was terrifying, I managed to produce and upload a video in my new language (German) :D .”

Here at Livemocha we get very excited and proud when we see our community members succeed in their target languages. Hassan’s words rang like a bell through our offices and reminded us just how special it is that you, the Livemocha community, are achieving great things through what we do.

Here are some of this week’s other stand outs:

John reads “Max und Moritz Erster Streich”

Megan shares some great tips for learning vocabulary and language.

Ivan shares tips for learning language on holidays.

Thanks to all of you who are participating. You are doing a great job! Remember, if you submit your video through YouTube, please be sure to include your email address so that we can send you your Gold Key at the end of the challenge.

Keep ‘em comin’!
